Introducing E-Design Services!!

I am very excited to announce the launch of my e-design services! I have been wanting to do this for forever and all the signs kept pointing me towards this. God knew my heart and everybody I talked to, every quote I saw said follow your dreams. This past Sunday at church we had a guest speaker and his message was about how your success and business was right up under you. I have dreams about designing. I can watch design shows all day and never tire. I see other people's homes and re-arrange furniture and paint walls in my head.

E-design is such an affordable option and more budget friendly than hiring a traditional designer. It also allows me to work with people down the street or across the country. I can't wait to start helping you make your home the one you always wanted it to be. Whether it's a room makeover or starting with a blank canvas, I can help!

Here's how it works. You email me photos of your space, photos of rooms you like that fit your style, and a description of what you are looking for. How will the room be used? How do you want it to feel? What colors do you like? You will also let me know the budget you have for the space.

When your custom design is ready, it will be emailed to you. You will receive a custom design board, a shopping list of items in the design, and a description of those items and placement in the room. If something doesn't feel right or there is a piece you don't like, I will change it.

You are now free to purchase items and install them at your convenience. See the E-Design page for more information.

Ready to get started? Just email me at decoratingcentsblog@gmail.com.

Get The Look: Mid-Century Family Room

Well hello there. One of my most favorite things is design. I love a good before and after and the hunt for that perfect piece to finish a space. I'm sure many of you, like myself, see a beautiful room and wonder where certain items came from or how you can make this room come to life for yourself. That is where I come in. I love to source products and help you design the dream space you've always wanted within your budget.

Let's take a look at this family room.

Round Tables

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know I'm itching to change up our breakfast area.

We bought this table and chair set when we first moved in six years ago.  Is it even possible that we have lived here this long?  Wow.  I loved the high top table and matching chairs.  I was really into dark wood.  I still am but in smaller doses.  The chairs are easy to clean because of the faux leather seats and backs.

I am ready for change.  I want to lighten up this space a little.  I also just want to change just because.  Is that wrong?  I've decided that I want a round table, probably white paired with simple one piece chairs.  I love the modern vibe of a simple round table.  My kids are still young so definitely not going with cloth chairs here.  My husband is on board so I've been gathering inspiration pictures from the web.

Aren't these all fab inspiration?  I'm on the hunt for a round table.  If you have any affordable options, please send them my way.
